New Works "not so still life"

All,

Happy to report I had a good Thanksgiving. I have been working on a new peice for the Fablouious Forgeries show coming up in early January at the Artist Gallery. Most who know me know my favorite artist is Edvard Munch. I have painted the Scream so many times and so many ways I could almost paint it in my sleep. I also love his painting(s) called Ashes and Melancoly. You may view these paintings by Edvard Munch at http://www.calarts.edu/%7Erjaster/edvard-munch/index1.htm

Anyway here is my attempt to expound on his Girls on the Jetty. I changed a few things (including the title) to feel good about selling this peice and still have a recognisable inspiration of Edvard Munch. I'm still working on this peice and have not signed it yet. Many have asked "what are you working on for the Fablouious Forgries show" so I thought I would give a sneak peek into my studio.

I have been encouraged to put Kat Deep in Thought in the Holiday Show this December at the Artist Gallery. It's an oldie but goodie . Everyone seems to enjoy this Pastel and has encouraged me to show it to the world. I painted it as a kind of funny joke, it never occured to me that it was any good. lol
