The Artists Gallery Reopens with "Homecoming"

The Artists Gallery Reopens with "Homecoming"

With exceptional cause for celebration, The Artists Gallery opens its new home on Norfolk Avenue with an extraordinary exhibition. "HOMECOMING" will feature present member artists and invited alumni, past members who have rented during the Gallery's 17-year history, including some of the region's most famous artists. Exhibitors will include Gloria Coker, Vonnie Whitworth, Ruth Laakso, Constance Fahey, Lee Gerry Wertheimer, Jack Whitlow, David Freyss, Carol Eikenberry and others. "HOMECOMING" opens Friday, November 3rd with a gala Grand Opening reception from 6-8 p.m., which is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served and resident artists will be showing off their newly-completed studio spaces. A complete makeover has transformed the interior of the building into spacious and inviting galleries and artists' workrooms. The ARTISTS GALLERY is located 608 Norfolk Avenue, with free parking on both Norfolk Avenue and 10th Street. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. New evening hours are 5-8 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.
